For the furnishing of material, labor, equipment and all services necessary for the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse Interior Renovations - 2323 - 17th Street NW, Canton, OH 44708. Request for said documents shall register bidders as Plan Holders of Record. Addenda shall be issued to Plan Holders of Record. Bidders are encouraged to contact the Architect for verification of issuance of Addenda. Bidders may submit requests for consideration of a proposed Substitution for a specified product, equipment, or service to the Architect no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening. Additional products, equipment, and services may be accepted as approved Substitutions only by written Addendum. No bid shall be considered unless made on the forms provided within the specification package in accordance with the contract documents, which consist of all advertisements and notices, the instructions to bidders, specifications and drawings, bid form, form of contract agreement, form of bid and performance bond, and addenda thereto. Bids must contain the name of every person interested therein and be accompanied by a bid and performance bond in the full amount of the bid tendered or a certified check or cashiers check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid tendered. All such bonds, certified checks or cashier's checks shall be payable to the Board of Education of the Canton City School District. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts of any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bids received. No bid may be withdrawn, after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids, for a period of sixty (60) days.
