Renovation of a mixed-use development in Huron East, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed tenders addressed to The Avon Maitland District School Board will be received at the Facilities Department Building which is located at the Board office 62 Chalk Street North, Seaforth, Ontario N0K 1W0, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022. A Site Meeting will be held at the school located at 58 Chalk Street North, Seaforth, ON on Tuesday March 29, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site. The project involves the replacement of roof areas D, E, J and K (approximately 18,000 sf), masonry repointing and the replacement of the cladding on the feature wall located on the front of the building. Bid Bond amount of $95,000.00 (Ninety-five Thousand Dollars) is required to accompany tender. Successful bidder will be required to provide 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond. Note that Roofing contractors shall be a qualified installer under the Soprema P.A.Q. warranty system. Electronic tender documents will be available to General Contractors only from the office of Marklevitz Architects Inc., 516 Huron Street, Stratford, Ontario.
