Description

Site work for a fire / police facility in Zion, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.

The existing asphalt shooting pad is to be demolished and spoils are to be hauled off site and properly disposed of. The substrate is to be excavated to make room for a new aggregate base layer at a further depth than current conditions. Utilities are to be excavated and new drainage lines are to be relocated to accommodate the existing structures. A new concrete pad with a tennis court coating along with distance striping to be installed. Any additional soils to be disposed of within project boundaries as indicated in grading plan. A storage shed located in the shooting pad footprint is to be demolished and replaced with a new storage shed. This project will be funded out of the Facilities and Construction Capital Program.
