The University is conducting an RFP for Aerospace Rocket Launch Pad The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated. The University of Toronto's Institute for Aerospace Studies at 4925 Dufferin St, North York ON is planning to create rocket launch pad(simulation pad) that will be used to contain the thrust of a small scale rocket engine. Nothing will be launched from the launch pad. However, the intent is to create a large concrete block walled structure on the grounds, which will allow their mobile test stand to gather data from the test fire of the small scale engine. Property Management is inviting proposals form qualified Engineering firms (Proponents) to provide engineering services for the design and construction phases of the renovation project. Official bid documents must be obtained from Merx.
