The City of Oceanside is soliciting proposals for water and wastewater treatment chemicals for Fiscal Year 2022-23. The City operates two water treatment plants, two wastewater treatment plants and one indirect potable plant, each with specific requirements and testing procedures. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to develop a fair and reasonable price guarantee for quality chemicals and prompt, reliable service from the selected vendor(s). The City is requesting pricing for three fiscal years. The City reserves the right to request new proposals for pricing at any time. The Special Provisions attached contain terms and conditions that apply to all proposals. The City of Oceanside Water and Wastewater Chemical Specifications (Exhibit A) provides the locationspecific requirements for the chemicals requested. Proposals may be submitted for any and/or all of chemicals. Pricing for chemicals except polymer should be submitted on provided pricing sheet (Exhibit B). Exhibits C and D are the treatment plant-specific requirements for polymer and liquid alum proposals and polymer specific testing procedures. Pricing for polymer and liquid alum should be submitted on provided pricing sheet (Exhibit E).
