Hopkins County invites General Contractors to submit a Bid to Owner for the procurement and set up of two generator sets, factory mounted on trailers, 18 automatic transfer switches and related appurtenances located in Hopkins County, Texas. The scope of work generally consists of ordering and setting up two diesel generators with 18 automatic transfer switches throughout the County, including all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary to complete the work as required by the plans and specifications. Liquidated damages in the amount of $300.00 per day will be charged for delays past the time of construction. In the event of documented supply chain/material delivery delays, an equitable time extension (no cost) will be provided for these delays. The Owner reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. Minority Business Enterprises, Small business enterprises, women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
