The Village of Park Forest anticipates contracting for the furnishing of all equipment and labor to conduct mowing, grass trimming and related lawn maintenance operations for the 2022 season in and around downtown Park Forest and other designated locations. The quantities, frequencies or operations listed are to be considered as minimum standards and do not limit the Contractor's responsibility to provide a quality finished product. This contract will be in effect for the 2022 mowing season and renewable for up to two additional years with the agreement of both the Village of Park Forest and the contractor. Bidders are expected to make themselves thoroughly familiar with the work through onsite inspection and to provide a written narrative describing how the work will be conducted and the equipment that will be used throughout the season. Bids are sought for ten (10) separate areas and will be awarded upon consideration of the bid amount for each area, the written narrative and the response from the references provided. It is our intent to award this contract to a single bidder, although the Village reserves the right to award the contract in its best interest. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technicality and to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Village.
