Estimated Cost $6,000,000 Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Value reflects from GC bidding project Sub-Bids with the required Bid deposit will be received for the following items of work: Subtrades Masonry Plumbing Painting HVAC Fire Protection Electrical The work consists of the construction of a 1.3-million-gallon day (MGD) per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) water treatment plant (WTP) using Granular Activated Carbon (GAC). The treatment system will be housed in a 55ft x 80ft prefabricated metal building approximately at the Town's Pump Station No. 6 site. Construction of the WTP includes providing one 12-ft GAC adsorption vessel, two chemical feed systems, associated process piping and valves, electrical work, fire protection sprinkler systems, HVAC, masonry interior rooms, painting and finishes, plumbing, propane utility, SCADA and controls systems and associated site work. The work also consists of minor demolition/decommissioning of existing chemical feed systems at the Town's three existing pump station (Pump Stations No. 1, 3 and 6), replacement of the well pump and demolition the generator at Pump Station No. 6 and relocating an existing 12ft diameter GAC vessel, located at the Town's Pump Station No. 3, to the PFAS WTP following partial activation of the WTP. The goals for this project are a minimum of 4.20 percent D/MBE participation and 4.50 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs.
