Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Naperville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The work consists of the installation of a soccer field irrigation system. Phase 1 includes installation of a booster pump, electrical, control cable and controller. Phase 2 includes installation of control valves, piping and sprinkler heads. All questions concerning this project should be directed to Jessica Burgdorf, Project Manager, in writing to jburgdorf@napervilleparks.org. Questions will be received in writing only until noon on Friday, April 1, 2022. Such bonds shall include the provision guaranteeing the faithful performance of the Prevailing Wage Act. The surety on the bond shall be a company that is licensed by the Department of Insurance authorizing it to execute surety bonds and the company shall have a financial strength rating of at least A- as rated by A.M. Best Company, Inc., Moody's Investors Service, Standard & Poor's Corporation, or a similar rating agency. 2. If a bid is accepted, the Contractor will be required to file a written substance abuse prevention program with the Owner for the prevention of substance abuse among its employees prior to the commencement of the work. Said program shall be available to the general public. Award of Contract It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded in May 2022. The Park District reserves the right to reject any nonresponsive or non-responsible bids or to reject all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Naperville Park District.
