Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1) A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents or 2) a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of Ottawa County, Ohio, The bid guaranty must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code and the Instructions to Bidders. All work shall be carried out in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations that apply to the work. Any project specification item in conflict with a federal, state, or local law, rule or regulation, shall be void. This project falls under the State of Ohio Prevailing Wage requirements. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities in a bid, or to accept that bid which in the judgment of proper officials is to the best interest of the County.
