Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Boise, Idaho. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
This project consists of constructing a new Cargo Apron and attached taxi lane to serve a new cargo facility being planned for the southeast corner of the airfield. As the t reasure Valley and Airport continue to grow, cargo traffic has grown substantially and this new cargo facility including the apron and taxi-lane is needed to accommodate future tenants, as the existing cargo areas cannot accommodate additional large cargo aircraft and related operations. Similar to the Gowen Road project, this project completion date assumes tenant lease agreements are in place by fall 2021. This project is in included in the City of Boise - Purchasing FY 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of March 24, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
