Tenders must be accompanied by a certified check, payable to Ville de Gaspé, the amount of which is equal to or greater than 10% of the total amount of the tender for the first year of the contract, including all applicable taxes or by a bid bond issued by a bank or insurance company for the same amount, as well as any other documents required in the tender documents. Regardless of the method of shipment that the tenderer chooses to adopt, all tenders must, to be validly received, be in the hands of the clerk of the City of Gaspé or his official representative, in a sealed envelope, Submissions received after this time will be returned unopened.
