Renovation of a municipal facility in Riverside, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) invites bids from qualified contractors to remove the existing emergency backup generators at the RTA Riverside-CA and Hemet-CA facilities and replace with diesel emergency backup generators along with the installation of components specified in scope of work/technical specifications. Prospective bidders shall possess a Class "B" along with "C-10" contractor's license to meet the requirements of the project. Bid Security: Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, a certified check, cashier's check or treasurer's check, drawn on or issued by a responsible bank or trust company, made payable to RTA in an amount no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the base bid. Performance and Payment Bonds of a surety company licensed and authorized to do business under the laws of the State of California and satisfactory to RTA will be required of the successful Bidder. Article 5 "Bonding" of the Form of Agreement (Section V) contains the specific requirements. The Agency reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, or any item or part thereof; or to waive any informalities or irregularities in bids. Agency shall have the sole discretion to determine the most responsive and responsible bid.
