Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cleveland, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Bids will be received by Cleveland Town for the construction of city sidewalks to be done in two phases. Phase 1 to be completed before end of fiscal year 2022, ending June 30, 2022. Phase 2 to be completed during fiscal year 2023. A bid bond in the amount of 5% must accompany bid. A performance/material bond will be required upon award of contract. Major items of work include: Phase 1: Approximately, 292 L.F. 5ft. Sidewalks Phase 2: Approximately, 740 L.F. 5ft. Sidewalks Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Town. Bids shall include cost per lineal foot for 5 ft. sidewalks Site preparation to include but not limited to the following: 1. Minimum of four (4) inches of road base with 98% compaction. 2. Concrete minimum of four (4) inches thick. 3. 6 bag mix 4. This item consists of forming, furnishing and placing the Portland cement concrete as required to construct the sidewalk, sidewalk shall be to grade with curb and gutter, along with the necessary untreated base, excavation and fill. 5. Contractor will be required to apply curing compound as soon as finishing has been completed. (at temperatures over 85 degrees) 6. Tree removal, bush removal, concrete structure removal, and tree trimming will not be paid for separately but will be considered subsidiary to sidewalk. 7. Measurement and payment will be measured by the linear feet of each item actually installed. Payment for each item will be made at the contract unit price for that item. Payment will constitute full compensation for all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, forms, bracing, excavation, and completion of concrete work. 8. All fences damaged as a result of contractor's work shall be replaced by the Contractor. Such fence restoration shall be completed immediately upon completion of work in that area. 9. All irrigation or drainage ditches and structures damaged as a result of Contractor's work shall be restored by contractor. Such restorations shall be completed as soon after the immediate work has been completed as possible. Any waste material shall be removed or properly cleaned up. 10. The Contractor shall be responsible for proper disposal of waste material from the site.
