Brush Run Water Pollution Control Plant Pavement Replacement No bids will be considered unless accompanied by the Bidder's certified check or Bid Bond made payable to Peters Township Sanitary Authority in the amount of 10% of bid. The bidder assumes responsibility for timely delivery of their bids. All bids must be clearly marked. The Peters Township Sanitary Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities; and to award contracts deemed in the best interest of the authority The work included under this contract covers the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to complete the work as described herein, shown on the Contract Drawings and necessary for complete operating facilities. The work generally consists of: Furnish all labor, material, equipment, apparatus and tools, and perform all operations necessary to apply approximately 3,350 SY of new bituminous pavement per the attached drawings, broom clean existing surface to receive bituminous material cut approximately 325 LF of key way, apply tack coat of bituminous material to areas receiving new pavement, install HMA Wearing Course of 9.5 mm with fibers at 1W' and compact. Apply a bituminous seal to appropriately selected edges and/or joints of the newly installed bituminous pavement. Provide patching for approximately 60 SY by saw cutting, excavate the areas (shown on drawing) to a depth of 3", regrade the existing aggregate surface to smooth uneven areas, and install HMA Base Course of 25 mm at 3" and compact. Provide line painting (one coat) as shown on drawings. All work is proposed to be performed within Peters Township at the Authority's Brush Run WPCP located at 111 W. Valleybrook Road, McMurray PA 15317
