Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Oshawa, Ontario. Design plans call for the renovation of a 40,122-square-foot, three-story above grade multi-residential development; clubhouse / community center; and for the construction of a multi-residential development.
This Project is intended to develop the first of three phases of the Subject Site to provide new affordable and market rate rental housing. The Project will contribute to the transformation of this community, creating a safe, walkable, inclusive, environmentally sustainable, climate resilient, and desirable growing neighbourhood. The Region is seeking a proponent to: - design, build, finance, operate and maintain buildings containing between 175 and 200 rental housing units on the Subject Site, through a long-term land lease with the Region; TIMELINE: NRFP for design-build was cancelled. Re-tender timelines are presently unavailable. Further update may be confirmed upon issuance of new NRFP.
