As of July 8, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for ocnstruction has not been confirmed. Paxtang Borough will receive bids for the Municipal Parking Lot Project. The Contract work will include, but not necessarily be limited to, approximately 4,600 SY milling, 550 TON Superpave wearing course, and rain garden construction. A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10 percent of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This contract is subject to the following: PA Prevailing Wage Rates; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Conditions; the Non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions; requirement of a noncollusion affidavit; and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. Paxtang Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. Questions received after 12:00 PM, Thursday, April 7, 2022, regarding the project will not be acknowledged.
