he Project consists of constructing: Base + Alt Bids A-E - Installation of 26,462 LF of 10-inch C900 PVC water line via open cut, including all borings, encasement, valves, service reconnections, main line reconnections, restoration of disturbed areas, and appurtenances; and safe and legal removal and disposal of 25,315 LF of existing 6-inch AC water line. Alt Bids F-K - Replacement of 25,279 LF of existing 6- inch AC water line with 10-inch HDPE water line via pipe bursting, including all valves, service reconnections, main line reconnections, restoration of disturbed areas, and associated appurtenances; and safe and legal removal of existing 6- inch AC water line as required to facilitate construction. Value Estimate: $3,450,000.00 (Base Bid + Alternates A through E) $3,300,000.00 (Alternates F through K) Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All listed iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and construction materials. The de minimis and minor components waiver {add project specific waivers as applicable} apply to this contract."
