Site work for a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids rejected due to lack of funds. Furnish all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct the project, including approximately 1,715 linear feet of 8" diameter water main replacement by open cut and trenchless methods, fire hydrants and valves, surface restoration, and miscellaneous associated work. The work comprising the above referenced project shall be constructed in accordance with the 2022 Edition of the Urban Standard Specifications for Public Improvements, and as further modified by the Special Provisions bound herein. The terms used in the contract revision of the documents are defined in said Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. Before submitting your bid, please review the requirements of Division One, General Provisions and Covenants, in particular the sections regarding proposal requirements, bonding, contract execution and insurance requirements. Please be certain that all documents have been completed properly, asfailure to complete and sign all documents and to comply with the requirements listed below can cause your bid not to be read. Liquidated damagesin the amount of Seven Hundred Fifty dollars($750.00) per calendar day. Paper copies are available by appointment only and will not be mailed.
