Accomack County has numerous sites that require the use of stand-by generator power when electrical service from the utility power grid is interrupted. There are a variety of models and types of generators currently used at County facilities. The County of Accomack is accepting proposals from Virginia-licensed qualified companies to provide maintenance, repair, and remote monitoring services for existing County owned equipment and generator leasing, maintenance, repair, and remote monitoring services for new generators as needed within the county. In order to streamline the replacement process, the County is seeking a "turnkey" solution for generators that will include the removal of old equipment, the design and installation of new equipment, and maintenance, repair and monitoring of generators and transfer switches after installation.
