The work to be performed consists of: the furnishing of all supplies, materials and labor to resurface and/or repair the two (2) tennis courts located at the Morris Plains Community Park in the Borough of Morris Plains. This request for bid proposals is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5. A pre-bid Site visit is highly ENCOURAGED prior to submission of a bid by contacting the Borough Treasurer, Ana M. Thomas, CFO, at (973) 538-2229 to schedule an appointment. All bids must be submitted on the Contract Document forms furnished by the Borough and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked with the name and address of the Bidder and the Contract Title. Any bids submitted by mail shall be addressed to Ms. Ana M. Thomas, CFO, Borough Treasurer, Borough of Morris Plains, 531 Speedwell Avenue, Morris Plains, New Jersey 07950. Each bid must be accompanied by a completed Consent of Surety which states that the surety company will provide the Bidder with the payment and performance bond specified in the Contract Documents in the event the Bidder is awarded the Contract. Each bidder must complete and submit with his proposal the Ownership Disclosure Statement, Affirmative Action Assurance Form, Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran, the Non-Collusion Affidavit contained in the Contract Documents. All bidders must submit a copy of the contractors and any subcontractor's NJ Business Registration Certificate pursuant to P.L. 2004, Chap 57, N.J.S.A. 52:32:44, in order to be eligible for consideration for award of this Contract. During the performance of this contract, the contractor shall be required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127, regarding affirmative action. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as set forth in the Contract Documents. The Borough reserves the right to reject all proposals or any proposal which may be informal or the acceptance of which for any other reasons would be detrimental to the best interests of the Borough, and to waive informalities.
