Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Huntsville, Texas. Completed plans call civil work for a post-secondary education facility.
This project is being constructed so that Sam Houston State University can have a one-of-a-kind facility to host rodeo events for kids of all ages plus collegiate rodeo events. This facility also provides SHSU students a place to practice any time, day, or night, and out of the weather. Amenities to include large restrooms, offices, warming kitchen area, bleachers plus state-of-the-art stalls and tack rooms. Spectators will be able to enjoy watching rodeo events while sitting in bleachers and out of the weather. Project will also consist of a new learning center, head house and two Greenhouses. This provides the university with much needed teaching space for students to further their learnings. This project has been a long-awaited facility for the University. The Sam Houston State University Gibbs Ranch Phase 1 project will consist of construction of three ground up metal buildings plus two new greenhouses. One large metal building will house a rodeo arena with stalls and tack rooms plus restrooms, bleachers, offices, etc. The site will consist of gravel parking with a few concrete parking spaces near each building plus landscaping throughout.
