Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. General Conditions, as may be modified by the Supplementary Conditions, sets forth Owner's requirements as to performance and payment bonds, other required bonds (if any), and insurance. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to Owner, it must be accompanied by required bonds and insurance documentation. The Work will be substantially complete on or before August 19, 2022, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before September 30, 2022. City of Burton, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the interest of the Owner. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work.
