The contractor shall provide a quote for the five-year internal inspection and gauge replacement including documentation of the inspection results for the Fire Sprinkler Systems. Perform inspection and gauge replacement per the NFPA 25 Requirements for 5 Year Testing: Alarm valves and their associated strainers, filters, and restricted orifices shall be inspected every 5 years unless tests indicate a greater frequency is necessary. Check valves shall be inspected internally every 5 years to verify that all components operate correctly, move freely and are in good condition. An assessment of the internal condition of piping shall be conducted at a minimum of every 5 years in accordance with 14.2.1.2 for the purpose of inspecting for the presence of foreign organic or inorganic material. Internal examination shall be performed at the following minimum four points: (1) system valve (2) riser (3) cross main (4) branch line. Site location has: 6 Wet System Risers 3 Dry System Risers 1 Foam System Riser Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to respond. Quotes shall remain in effect for 60 days from the deadline of receipt). CATA is a municipal transportation authority that is exempt from sales taxes. Please do not include such taxes in your bid. CATA reserves the right to reject any and all bids as it deems in its best interest.
