The Raleigh County Commission is seeking bids from licensed contractors to construct a bathhouse at Lake Stephens in Surveyor, WV. The proposed structure will be approximately 31 feet by 28 feet in size. The exterior will be split faced block construction with a metal roof. Construct a 28-foot by 24-foot seasonal bathhouse with no heat or air conditioning. Structure will be split faced block with metal roofing, vinyl soffit and aluminum gutter. Contractor will need to provide all labor, materials, equipment and necessary permits. Building Specifications A. Provide footers around exterior walls. Lay block and grout up to floor height and backfill with clean 57 stone a minimum of 12" of stone. Compacted in 12" lifts. Slab under breezeway walls will need to be 8" thick.
B. Provide necessary rough-in for all water, sewer, floor drains and power connections. Water, Sewer and Power will be brought to within 5 feet of structure. Contractor will be responsible for placement within the slab.
C. Water lines (1/2" pex), to each receptacle as shown on (water layout print). Water cutoff in mechanical closet. Sewer lines (6", 4" & 2" schedule 40) to receptacles as shown on (sewer layout print) and power service conduit (2" Schedule 40) as shown on print.
D. Cleanouts and floor drains, as shown on (sewer layout print)
E. Provide finished concrete slab with welded wire fabric.
F. Finish block to provide for an inside ceiling height of 9'4". Breezeway walls will be split face block. All other interior walls will be 8" regular block.
G. Provide and install six (6)36-inch commercial steel doors as shown on print.
H. Provide and install eight (8) hopper windows approx..32"x16" as shown on print
6'8" to bottom of windows.
I. Provide and install a hip roof with a 5/12 pitch with 2-foot overhangs and metal roofing (Brown Metal) with 5/8 Sheeting with underlayment.
J. Finish all exterior trim including breezeway with soffit and color matched metal and 6-inch gutter.
K. Provide a 5-foot x 28-foot sidewalk along the entire front of bathhouse.
L. Bid should not include the supply or setting of fixtures, paint, interior ceilings, lighting, electric panels, shower doors, commodes, or vanities.
M. Finish all plumbing to receive fixtures. Shower faucets will be provided.
N. All work must comply with IBC and with Raleigh County Code.
O. All bidders must provide a performance bond in the amount of the contra
