Electrical Maintenance and Repair Services Questions regarding this bid should be directed, no later than March 30, 2022 at 5:00 pm., to either Randall Martin, Assistant Director of Park Maintenance, via email at randall.martin@hooveralabama.gov or Charles Yates, Facilities Manager, via email at charles.yates@hooveralabama.gov. The Bid/Contract award, if made, will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder as evidenced by the City's receipt of a completed Bid Proposal Form and other documents that have been submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and in accordance with stipulations within other sections of the Bid Specifications. A purchase order will be issued once the bid is awarded. The City of Hoover hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, gender, religion, age, disability, marital status or national origin in consideration for an award. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any formality in any Bid, and to accept any Bid considered advantageous to the City. The City reserves the right to hold the Bids for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the date of receipt of Bids.
