Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Woodbridge, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Town of Woodbridge seeks the assistance of a qualified Design/Civil Engineering firm to design and prepare construction-ready plans for sidewalks and other pedestrian safety measures within the Woodbridge Town Center. The construction will be funded through a Connecticut Department of Transportation Community Connectivity Grant award of $599,855. The Scope of Work includes the surveying/design/engineering for the creation of a minimum 5-feet wide, ADA-compliant sidewalk on the west side of Newton Road from the Amity Regional High School crosswalk to Meetinghouse Lane (approximately 450 feet of sidewalk); replacement of the existing asphalt sidewalk on the Library property at Meetinghouse Lane and Newton Road (approximately 400 feet of sidewalk) with a sidewalk closer to the road; and a sidewalk connecting the walkways at the front of Town Hall (approximately 35 feet). The Town of Woodbridge reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid that it may deem to be in the best interests of the Town of Woodbridge, to negotiate the contract price with any bidder, and to omit any item or items deemed advisable for the interest of the Town of Woodbridge
