Contractors are invited to submit an offer for Furnishings for the Heyworth Elementary School library - REBID, District Office, 522 E. Main Street, Heyworth, Illinois. The project consists of furnishings for the elementary school library. A single stipulated sum bid will be received for each of the following Bid Packages: 1. Media Technologies, Inc. 2. Paragon Furniture, Inc. Bidder will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond executed by the bidder as principal, and having as surety thereon a surety company acceptable to the owner in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Refer to other Bidding requirements described in Document 00 2101 - Instructions to Bidders. Submit Bid on the Bid Form provided. Bidders are required to complete Bid Form. Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond will be required. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract. Said bond shall be delivered to the Owner, along with an executed copy of the Contract and a valid certificate of insurance, within ten days after the successful bidder has received Notice of Award of the contract. The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission. Attention is called to the provisions of Equal Employment Opportunity. Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).
