Project Description: Contractor shall remove, dispose and haul solids from the existing City of Rio Rancho Wastewater Treatment Plant 2 - north aeration basins comprised of 7 total cells as define below and as shown in Exhibit A. Twenty-four (24) inches of grit, sediment, sludge, and debris must be removed and disposed of from the cell foundations. Solids must be placed into dewatering bins to drain the remaining liquid, dried, and then hauled to an acceptable Waste Management site for disposal (i.e. Valencia County Landfill, 60 miles from project site). Contractor is responsible for all testing and associated costs required to verify acceptance at the disposal facility as well as any associated disposal or tipping fees which may be required at the disposal facility. NOTICE: The City of Rio Rancho Procurement Code, Section 36.37, paragraph B, notes that New Mexico criminal statutes impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, gratuities, and kickbacks."
