Scope of Work This Contractor shall furnish all labor and materials to completely install 30-year bonded roofing. G.A.F. TIMBERLINE HDZ Shingles or approved equal. Remove existing drip edge, remove all existing roofing, and remove and replace unsound sheathing with the approval of the Maintenance Superintendent or his representative. Gutters and downspouts to be removed and replaced with new as per specifications. Contractor to submit in proposal, a unit cost to replace unsound sheathing using 1/2" fir plywood, sheathing grade. Work Included 1. Remove all existing singles and felt underlay. Install Titanium synthetic underlayment ULD 30 and G.A.F. TIMBERLINE HDZ Shingles or approved equal. 2. Install new flashing-tin, metal drip edge of baked enamel on aluminum, 2-1/4" x 13/4" up the rake as well as at the eaves. 3. New vent flashing over plumbing vents in proper sizes. Remove existing roof vents and replace with new. 4. Install 36" bituthene ice and water shield at all eaves and up the rake of all roofs or approved equal as manufactured by Grace Construction Products Company. 5. Replace deteriorated, unsound, or damaged sheathing on new roof and replace with new materials and make flush with the existing adjoining roof deck surface. Price per square foot for sheathing replace, if necessary, required by the Authority. 6. All Flashing to be replaced. 7. Ice and water shield to be installed 8 to 10 inches up the gable end. 8.
