A timeline for award has not yet been established.** This project is for the street reconstruction and water main installation on Brambleridge Ln. from Sutton Pl. to Woodbridge Ln., on Woodbridge Ln. from Brambleridge Ln. to Moorland Dr. and on Sutton Pl. from Brambleridge Ln. to the end of the cul de sac. The project scope includes water main installation, storm sewer modifications, removal and replacement of concrete curb and walks, crushing & shaping the existing pavement, placement of new bituminous pavement, and turf establishment. In general, the order of construction activities shall be as follows: 1. Crush the full width of the existing roadway and mix with the existing aggregate base to a depth of 6". 2. Install water main. The top 6" of backfill shall consist of salvaged crushed material, after cut for asphalt. 3. Disinfection and pressure testing of new water main by the City of Midland Water Department. 4. Service transfers and tie-ins by the City of Midland Water Department. 5. Complete storm sewer modifications as indicated on project plans. 6. Replace curb & gutter, castings, driveway approaches and sidewalk ramps as per the project plans. Complete all concrete work on one side of the street and reopen drives to residents prior to beginning concrete work on the other side of the street. 7. Cut the roadway by 3", fine grade, and compact. Replace all castings within the roadway. 8. Complete Turf Establishment and other restoration. 9. Place 1.5" bituminous leveling course and 1.5" bituminous wearing course.
