Site work and paving for a road / highway in Berwick Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The location of the work: Item 1: Deer Trail Drive (T-518) (0.24 miles). Item 2: Orchard View Drive (T-515) (0.58 miles). Item 3: Fawn Hill Road (T-519) (0.48 miles). Item 4: Paving Fabric (Geotextile Fabric) (1.30 miles) on items 1, 2, & 3 as per Pub 408, Section 466. Item 5: Polymerized Fog Sealer (1.30 miles) shall be applied in accordance with manufacturers specifications & Publication 408, Section 470. Furnish labor and materials required to complete in place: Item 1: 3,942 square yards of Asphalt Surface Treatment. Item 2: 9,527 square yards Asphalt Surface Treatment. Item 3: 7,885 square yards of Asphalt Surface Treatment. Item 4: 21,354 square yards Paving Fabric (Geotextile). Item 5: 21,354 square yards of Polymerized Fog Sealer. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the Bid amount, made payable to Berwick Township. The Contractor, upon notification of Intent to Award, shall provide to the Owner, a Performance Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount, as well as proof of workers' compensation insurance. Berwick Township as the contracting owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities. The Berwick Township Board of Supervisors will consider awarding the bid at their regular meeting on May 9, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building, 85 Municipal Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
