Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hemet, California. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

**As of June 02, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The proposed project generally includes the rehabilitation of Taxiway B, adjacent hangar taxilanes, and East/West Apron areas. Portions of the project will be reconstructed, while others will receive rehabilitation via mill/overlay, crack sealing and surface area seal coat. New pavement markings will be placed on the apron. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum proposal price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. Every request concerning this project must be made in writing or email addressed to Hannah Brazil of C&S Engineers, Inc. (hbrazil@cscos.com) at C&S Engineers, Inc., located at 2355 Northside Drive., Suite 350, San Diego, CA 92108, and to be given consideration must be received at the above address at least ten (10) calendar days prior to the date fixed for opening of bids. Any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda, which, when issued, will be sent and or posted not later than seventy- two (72) hours prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. All addenda so issued shall become Part of the Contract and acknowledged by Bidder. Pursuant to labor Code section 1771.1, any contractor bidding, or subcontractor to be listed on a bid proposal subject to Public Contract Code section 4104, shall not be qualified to bid after March 1, 2015, unless currently registered and qualified to perform public works pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. No Contractor or subcontractor may enter into a contract (after April 1, 2015) without proof of current registration to perform public works. The Bidder receiving the Award by the County is required to comply with the provisions of the California Labor Code, including, without limitation, Sections 1771.4, 1773.1, 1774, 1775 and 1776 of the California Labor Code and including, without limitation, the obligations to pay the general prevailing rates of wages in the locality in which the Work is to be performed and comply with Section 1777.5 of the California Labor Code governing employment of apprentices. Copies of the prevailing rates of per diem wages are on file at California State Department of Industrial Relations, 464 West Fourth St., Suite 348, San Bernardino, CA 92401, and are available to any interested party on request. Contractor or subcontractor shall furnish records specified in Labor Code section 1776 to the Labor Commissioner. Substitution of securities for any moneys withheld by the County shall be permitted as provided for by Section 22300 of the California Public Contract Code. The bidder receiving the Award by the County is required both at the time Bidder submits its Bid and other Bid Submittals and at the time of Award, to: (a) hold a contracting license, active and in good standing, issued by the Contractors State License Board for the State of California for the following license classification(s): Class "A" California Contractor's License. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the proposal, and to reject any and all proposals. Estimated Range for this project is 3.2M-4M General Description: Crack repair and seal coat on Taxiway B and Hangar Taxilanes, reconstruction of East apron, mill and overlay of West apron, new markings, and new tie-downs on the East apron. B. Special Items: No phases of work shall be concurrent A flagger shall be required if access gates are open during hauling operations and to assist construction personnel across the apron The contractor may use the eastern gate only when constructing in work area 2B 3-4 months after work has been completed, contractor shall fog seal reconstruction and mill and overlay areas and remark over stop sign bar markings, centerline markings, and stripe black outlines for centerlines. Construction of this project is anticipated to start in early 2023
