Site work and paving for a road / highway in Frostburg, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This work shall include the furnishing and placing of a 0 - 1 1/2 inch bituminous concrete (hot asphalt) scratch course, wedge course, or leveling course (where needed as directed by the City) and appurtenant work, including some milling, base repair and curbing (where needed as directed by the City). Also, this work shall include the furnishing and placing of bituminous concrete (hot asphalt) wearing surface course. Tacking shall be required between all existing bituminous surfaces being covered with new bituminous concrete. Approximately 5000tons of hot mix asphalt, incidental milling and miscellaneous work is estimated. The Frostburg Mayor and Council reserve the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities as the interest of the Mayor and Council may require.
