Project Identification: LIGHTING REPLACEMENT 1. Project Location(s): Arbor Park Middle School 17303 Central Avenue Oak Forest, Illinois 60452 Kimberly Heights School 6141 Kimberly Drive Tinley Park, Illinois 60477 Project Consists of: Lighting Replacement and associated electrical and architectural work at Arbor Park Middle School and Kimberly Heights School. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for a single Prime Contract. Any bid submitted unsealed, or unsigned, without bid bond or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and hour will be disqualified and returned to the bidder. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bid Security is required in the form of a Bid Bond, AIA Document A310 in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid and all Additive Alternates. It is the Owners intent to issue a Notice of Award to the successful Bidder within thirty (30) calendar days of the Bid Date. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of bids. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Award and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum, on AIA Document A312, as issued by the American Institute of Architects.
