The City of Huntsville Development Services Department is soliciting sealed Proposal(s) from qualified and experienced firms for Plan Review and Inspection Services in accordance with the 2021 International Codes. It shall be the Offerors sole responsibility to assure delivery at the designated office by the designated time. Late submissions will not be opened and will be returned to the Offeror at the expense of the Offeror or destroyed if requested. The City of Huntsville is aware and appreciative of the time and effort you expend in preparing and submitting proposals to the City. Please notify the Procurement Office in writing of any proposal requirements that are causing you difficulty in responding to our proposal. We want to make the process as convenient as possible so that all responsible Offerors can compete for the Citys business. QUESTIONS REGARDING PROPOSAL SPECIFICATIONS: No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made to any responder orally. Every question or request for interpretation concerning the solicitation shall be directed to the Purchasing Agent, Christina Bodin-Turner, in writing via e-mail at cbodinturner@huntsvilletx.gov or sent via mail addressed to the Procurement Office at City Hall, 1212 Avenue M, Huntsville, TX 77340. All questions or request for interpretation must be received by April 6, 2022, at 5:00 P.M. as addressed above. All questions or requests for interpretation concerning the solicitation received after April 6, 2022, at 5:00 P.M. will be considered void and unacceptable. Written addenda will be issued as a response and will be posted on the City of Huntsville website, Public Purchase website and the Electronic State Business Daily website no less than five days prior to the date designated for the receipt of proposals. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract documents, and receipt thereof shall be acknowledged in the space provided in the solicitation document. It is the responsibility of the responder to verify all addenda and interpretations.
