The fire suppression system diesel backup motor was damaged during the cold weather of February 2021 and is in need of repairs. The 136 Airlift Wing requires the engine for the pump to be overhauled in order to ensure proper operation of the fire suppression system in the aircraft maintenance complex. Bidder is reminded that 06/20/2022 at 2:00 PM Central Time is the last day to submit written questions for clarification by TMD. 06/24/2022 Anticipated date of Contract Award For a contract in excess of $100,000.00 a performance bond will be executed in the amount of the contract conditioned upon the faithful performance of the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. Said bond will be solely for the protection of the state. For a contract in excess of $25,000.00 a payment bond will be executed in the amount of the contract, solely for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and material. The initial contract term is effective on the effective date stated in the notice of award (or purchase order if there is no notice of award) and expires one year from that effective date, Additionally, this Contract has three one-year optional renewal periods available, which TMD solely reserves the right to exercise one optional renewal period at a time. TMD also reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any response, waive minor technicalities and award the response to best serve the interests of TMD.
