Q & A deadline: Apr 06, 2022 3:30:00 PM EDT Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) Bid Documents and Specifications Attached KUB is inviting pre-qualified contractors in the following area: 2.2 Wastewater Construction, Unlimited. Bids will not be accepted from contractors who are not pre-qualified in the above-mentioned category prior to the bid opening. CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor, materials not furnished by the OWNER, equipment and incidentals as required for rehabilitation/installation of approximately 5,444 LF of 8-inch via CIPP; approximately 3,182 LF of 8-inch via Pipe Bursting; approximately 1,197 LF of 8-inch PVC via Open Cut; 559 LF of 8-inch DIP via Open Cut; 33 4-foot diameter precast manholes; 3 4-foot diameter drop precast manhole; 103 VF of cementitious lining of 4-foot diameter manholes; and 147 sewer laterals to be reinstated via open cut, CIPP Lateral Lining, Cut and Buff and/or Top Hats. Additionally, 1,000 LF of existing sewers are to be abandoned via grouting in place. The work shall be completed in strict accordance with the drawings and the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as required to restore the Site to a condition equal to or better than the Site condition which existed prior to the initiation of the Work activities. CONTRACTOR shall provide Traffic Control Plan (TCP) and devices as required by the specifications.
