Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Maxatawny Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

This work will consist of the mix design and full depth reclamation of Quarry Road, from Kutztown Road (U.S. 222) to Hinterleiter Road, approximately a 1.4-mile stretch. The road will be reprofiled, and a curing compound will be applied. It will then receive 3" of paving overtop of the curing compound. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/20/2022 12:00 PM Bids will be publicly awarded on May 10, 2022 at 7:30 pm (local time) at the Maxatawny Township Building, 127 Quarry Road, Kutztown, PA 19530. The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Maxatawny. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Township. The Township also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
