Renovation of a water / sewer project in Saint Augustine Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of October 6, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The Contractor bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services, and incidentals to renovate and refurbish the 2.5-meter Alfa Laval Ashbrook Simon-Hartley Klampress Belt Filter Press (BFP) and the cake conveyor system. Provide new materials and coatings, rollers, bearings, belt wash system components, hydraulic system components, discharge scrapers, belt drive units, dewatering belts, electrical system components, and gravity/wedge drainage sections for the BFP. Removal and replacement of the belt components as specified and install a new safety stop cable system to allow an operator to stop the conveyor by pulling a cable located around the perimeter of the conveyor. St. Johns County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids/proposals, waive minor informalities, or award the bid/proposal which best serves the interests of St. Johns County. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
