Site work for a water / sewer project in Sykesville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The contact and Project Manager is Matthew Orner and the estimate is $65,000. The work consists of the installation of 2-inch diameter HOPE and 6-inch diameter PVC waterline, fire hydrant installation, water service replacements, surface restoration and all required appurtenances. The project is located along North Park Street (SR 2031) in Sykesville Borough, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. A certified check or bid bond payable to or naming as obligee County of Jefferson in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must be deposited with the proposal. Bidders must submit with their bids the Non-Collusion Affidavit contained in the contract documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract and submit evidence of its qualifications to perform the work. No bids may be withdrawn, except when the bidder meets the requirements of Act No. 4 of the General Assembly of Pennsylvania Senate Bill 793, Printers No. 1655. The Jefferson County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality and to award the contract as may be deemed by the County to be in their best interest. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening. Work is anticipated to begin in late Spring or early Summer 2022.
