Respondents are requested to submit their submission in the form prescribed herein by the Submission Deadline to the Parkland County Contact identified below in the manner set out below. Submissions are to be prominently marked with the RFQ title and number (see RFQ cover) in the subject line, and with the full legal name and return address of the respondent, and with the Submission Deadline in the email. The County is seeking quotations from qualified contractors to provide weekly residential municipal solid waste collection and disposal for the Hamlet of Entwistle, Alberta. It is Parkland Countys intent to enter into a two (2) year contract commencing on approximately June 8, 2022 with two (2) single year options to extend. Contract extension will be subject to further funding approval by Parkland Countys Council and mutual acceptance of both parties. The Contractor will undertake the following scope of work: - Weekly curbside pick-up (Wednesdays) of residential household waste for approximately one hundred ninety-two (192) households; - Monthly pick-up of waste from eight (8) community waste receptacles; - Disposal of waste at a provincially approved facilities (sites). Residential household waste pick up will be Wednesdays and will commence no earlier than 7:30 a.m. and be completed by 4:00 p.m. If a statutory holiday falls on a Wednesday, the Contractor will be required to provide service the following day. Respondents are to specify locations and cost for tipping at a private landfill in their submission. Respondents shall note that Parkland County will not pay any additional fees during the term of the Contract, unless such additional fees have been legislatively imposed.
