UNITED IRRIGATION DISTRICT is accepting sealed bid proposals for the Supply of Materials for the Lining of the Mission Main Canal from the Third Lift to the Mile 3 1/2 Check.furnishing all materials, supplies, and delivery coordination necessary for the Supply of Materials for the Lining of the Mission Main Canal from the Third Lift to the Mile 3 1/2 Check in accordance with the specifications. A CERTIFIED OR CASHIER'S CHECK, or an acceptable bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the Supply Contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract with United Irrigation District. SUPPLIERS are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local conditions. All liner and reinforcing steel materials shall be delivered within sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of the purchase order. Shotcrete shall be supplied within eighteen (18) months of the purchase order as needed by the District United Irrigation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all informalities, and to award the contract to the Supplier, who, in the opinion of the District offers the proposal in its best interest. The prices submitted for the materials will be unit prices and the award will be based on the estimated quantity of no less than 183,396 square feet of geo-synthetic composite liner, 58-33lb bags of liner adhesive, 11 weeks rental of a 10L adhesive melter, 2,800 cubic yards of 4,000psi shotcrete, including the incorporation of 4,200 lbs. of fibermesh at a rate of 1.5 lbs. per cubic yard of shotcrete, 28,192 lbs. of 40'-0" x#4 rebar, and 124,155 lbs. of 4"X4" 6/6 welded wire reinforcement in 5'x150' rolls. The award of the materials will be based on the bid that is most advantageous to the District. SUPPLIERS are cautioned that conditional or qualified bids, or bids not in the proper form may be rejected.
