The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to perform a General Reassessment of real property in Tazewell County, Virginia, pursuant to Section 58.1-3252 of the Code of Virginia (1950), as amended. The successful firm will make a complete uniform General Reassessment of all real property within Tazewell County, Virginia, including mineral lands and minerals under development, excluding public service corporation properties and non-carrier railroad properties, but including an inventory of all non-taxable properties and the classification of all real property in accordance with the Code of Virginia. The successful firm will be asked to provide the services contained within the attached "Explanation of Procedures and Scope of Services". Small businesses and businesses owned by women or minorities are encouraged to apply. Bidders shall comply with any and all national or state legislative, executive, and judicial orders or decrees prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, national origin, gender, gender identification or preference, disability, or veterans' status. Bidders shall certify that they do not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, national origin, gender, gender identification or preference, disability, or veterans' status. The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all proposals resulting from this request. Late responses will not be accepted and will be returned to the submitting firm or individual unopened. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
