Torrance County reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it is not in the best interest of the County or waive any informality in the bid process. The Invitation for Bids process will be conducted according to the New Mexico Procurement Code (Sections 13-1-28 through 13-1-199, NMSA 1978) which imposes civil and criminal penalties for its violations. In addition, the New Mexico Criminal Statutes impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, gratuities, and kick-backs. o Four (4) Portable Kennels, with four (4) banks in each kennel, total of 16 cages.
o Portable Kennel Dimensions: 100" wide x 92"Tall x 55" deep.
o Individual cage dimensions: 48" wide x 42" tall x 48" deep.
o Material: galvanized steel with a powder coat to prevent rusting or equivalent.
o Removable raised floor mats to prevent animals from sitting in excrement.
o Locking casters.
o Glass front doors on at least half of the length of the front of cages, to reduce sound.
o Approximately 2" x 2" welded wire on the rest of the front, to assist with circulation and to hold
feeding and water dishes.
o Key lock latches, for holding aggressive animals or bite cases, can be securely fastened to avoid
accidental injuries or escape.
o Kennels floors slanted to the center back for drainage and cleaning.
o Plumbing and drainage to each cage and connected to a central point for ease of sanitation
evacuation, and sterilization to each bay.
o Units must be portable, as we are expecting to be moving and must be able to move with us o Manufacturer industry standard warranty.
o Units shall be made of synthetic materials and non-porous that are resilient to household
chemicals and animal excrement.
o Bid pricing shall include installation and shipping cost (if applicable).
o Bid must also include schedule of completion and estimated delivery time.
