A Pre-Bid Request for Information Form is available in this bid package This is a Measure S Bond Program Project with scope of work that includes but is not limited to the following: Demolition of the existing Administration Building, 2-story Classroom Building and a 1-story Science Building and demolition of adjacent existing canopies. Patch and repair where the demolished Administration Building meets the existing Band Room/Theater Building. Patch and repair where the canopy meets the existing Library and Classroom Building 500. Construction of new restrooms and demolition of existing ceiling in Theater Building. Construction of a new 2-Story Building, consisting of Administration and student Services on the 1 st floor and (6) General Classrooms on the 2 nd Floor. Site and utility upgrades around the new Building and on the Southwest corner of the Campus. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): B The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing at the time of bid and throughout the term of the Contract. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. The Bidder's registration must remain active at the time of bid and throughout the term of the Contract. The District does not ensure the availability, accuracy or completeness of plans, specifications, and any other bid documents related to this bid if they are not obtained from American Reprographics Company ("ARC"). It shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder to confirm and ensure it has received all bid documents for the Project. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Orange Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work.
