Demolition, site work and addition to a fire / police facility in Manila, Arkansas. Working plans call for the addition of a 10,000-square-foot fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

City of Manila is requesting SEALED bids from Qualified Licensed General Contractors for the furnishing of materials, labor, equipment, tools, accessories, and supervision necessary for completing the above referenced project. Bids will be based on a single lump sum basis for entire project. Construction of a single story building addition comprised of approximately 5,000 s.f., fire truck parking bays and work areas. Building will be concrete slab on grade, pre-engineered steel building system, standing seam metal roof, fiberglass roof and wall insulation, exterior prefinished metal wall panels with masonry trim. Work includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection system, including new fully automatic fire sprinkler system and addressable fire detection alarm system, throughout both new and existing building areas. (Total of new and existing building area is approximately 10,000 s.f.) Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashiers or Certified Check, in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid submitted, and payable to City of Manila, Arkansas, must accompany each Bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as may be required. Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the Amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder awarded the Contract (for successful bids that are in excess of $20,000.00). All bidders must conform to the requirements of the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board. No bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and waive any formalities in Bids received, not bound by Arkansas statutes.
