The Nixa School District is requesting statements of qualifications for the services of a Special Inspections and Construction Materials Testing Firm for a new FEMA Safe Room Addition to their existing Espy Elementary Campus. The project is located in the City of Nixa, in Christian County, Missouri. The project involves new construction and generally includes but is not limited to selective demolition, earthwork, cast in place concrete, structural precast concrete, masonry, welded connections, light gage metal framing, and asphalt The Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspection Firm shall provide qualified inspector(s) to perform on-site construction inspection (full-time as required) and materials testing. Special Inspection and Testing services shall be provided in accordance with the plans and specifications for the project. (Plans and specifications are available for review by request.) Examples of testing and inspection services desired include but are not limited to soil compaction, concrete, embedded anchors, welding, asphalt, and others as required. This RFQ does not commit the school district to award a contract or to pay any costs incurred in preparation of qualifications submittal. The school district reserves the right to accept or reject any and all qualifications received as a result of this request, to waive any informality and irregularity in the qualifications, to negotiate with all qualified offerors, to select the firm that is in the best interest of the district, or to cancel in part or in its entirety this proposal request, if in the best interest of the school district.
