Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**As of May 10, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project consists of pavement milling, hydrant replacement, driveway blending, loam/seeding and roadway paving throughout the City, including all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete the Work. The estimated project cost is approximately $550,000.00. Bids are subject to M.G.L., c. 30, 39M, and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L c.149, 26 through 27H inclusive.. Bids shall be clearly identified as per instructions at website. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit of not less than five (5%) percent of the value of the bid in accordance with M.G.L. c. 30, 39 M (a), and made payable to the City of Marlborough, the Awarding Authority. The bid deposit may be submitted in the form of a certified check, a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company or a Bid Bond. In lieu of a Bid Bond, deposit checks must be submitted in a sealed envelope with a completed Bid Bond Affidavit form and received by the City before the bidding deadline. The Bidder must also submit a completed Bid Bond Affidavit form with their electronic bid. Bidders may download a blank Bid Bond Affidavit form . Due to COVID-19 bidding protocols, at this time, the City is not accepting cash bid deposits. In accordance with the provisions of applicable statutes, laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances, the City of Marlborough does not discriminate in employment or the provision of services and all qualified contractors will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, religious creed, gender, handicap, sexual orientation, veteran's status or national origin. The City reserves the right to cancel this procurement process, or reject in whole or in part any and all bids, if the City determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interests of the public to do so. Questions concerning the bid specifications must be submitting in writing via email to Attn: Mark Dascoli at mdascoli@marlborough-ma.gov no later than 3 business days prior to the scheduled bid opening. All questions and answers shall be distributed as an addendum to all on record as having received the bid documents
