Renovation of a mixed-use development in Donnellson, Iowa. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bid rejected by school board, project will be relet at a later date. The Project is described in general as exterior painting of the existing High School and PK-8 School including, but not limited to, siding, gutters, downspouts, doors, window frames, brick, louvers, and bollards. A single contract, direct to Owner, will be awarded. Offers shall be on a stipulated sum basis. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Products and materials incorporated in the Work of this project are exempt from Iowa sales tax and local option sales tax. Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond will be required in the full amount of the contract. Costs for obtaining background checks for all on-site personnel shall be included in bid proposals. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularity in the bids and in the bidding and to enter into such contracts as shall be deemed to be in the Owner's best interest.
